Heritage Houses at 52-56 Kampong Java Road

The five terraced units that make up FLOCK were built in the 1930s. They began as homes for Singapore Municipal staff and later housed government departments including PUB and PWD. In 2024, the National Arts Council and Singapore Land Authority tendered the site for an arts sandbox. The tender was awarded to 19sixtyfive in December 2024.

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital

Just across the road. Kandang Kerbau Hospital traces its roots back to 1858, became a maternity hospital in 1924, and moved into its current building in 1997. The original KK Hospital building nearby is now a historical site.
