The Nest
A calm creative nook made up of three rooms; Reading Room, Drawing Room and Listening Room, each offer a place to slow down and spend time with ideas.
The Nest is designed for reflection and incubation. It supports slower work, gentle testing and thoughtful exchange. People come here to sit with ideas rather than rush them, spending time in conversation, practice or quiet attention.
The atmosphere is intimate and unforced. Conversations are quiet. Sharings feel personal.
Reading Room:
A room for lingering with words.
The Reading Room contains a growing collection of works by Singapore authors and poets, as well as material brought in by artists and collaborators. People come here to read, reread and sit with language.
It can also host poetry readings, writer discussions and research sessions, where ideas are still taking shape.
Drawing Room:
A room for thinking through making.
The Drawing Room is suited to drawing, sketching and hands-on exploration. It is used for art masterclasses, drawing circles and small group sessions where work takes shape visually.
This room encourages process, experimentation and shared looking, without pressure to arrive at finished outcomes.
Listening Room:
A room dedicated to listening.
The Listening Room is set up for attentive listening, from small sound sharings to vinyl exchange nights. Time here is spent slowing down and paying attention to sound together.
Used for listening gatherings and sound-led conversations, the Listening Room allows exchange, discovery and close attention.
